Almost Every Flame Will Fade Away is a song by Dawnstar. It is the third track from the band's first LP, Saturnine Valentines, released on 16 May 2013. Both music and lyrics were written by Attila Wind in 2012. The song starts with a piano melody and then the drums, the bass, and the acoustic guitar enter. The song is built upon the changes of a 4-chord progression (C major, A minor, F major, and G major). Therefore, the song has a rather positive vibration in the verse and chorus part. However, the bridge is built upon the changes of E minor and C major that makes the song a bit melancholic. In the third chorus, Wind used vocal fry technique while singing 'I don't wanna hurt you again'.
The song is about confessions of sins and also about begging to restart a relationship. It has not been revealed to whom Attila Wind has written the song. It has been one of the most romantic songs from the band. It was played for the first time live on 12 February 2016 at Szilvuplé Varieté.

Lyrics
When you were deep in love with me
I just needed space my baby
When you told me to stay away
My life seemed so dull and so grey
Almost every flame will fade away
When you were sad and down all day
I was seeing girls - it’s a shame
When you left me here all alone
I was deep in love without hope
I just want to meet
I want you to know
I love you indeed
I know there’s still hope
I hope you can see
My heart’s filled with woe
I don’t want to leave you my babe
I don’t wanna hurt you again
My baby - can you see?
