Concert

Dawnstar's 28th concert was held on 18 November 2016 Szilvuplé Varieté in Budapest, Hungary. It was the third concert held at Szilvuplé Varieté. Dawnstar supported the band, Steal, for the third time.

Organisation
Steal guitarist, Surányi, informed Dawnstar as early as 8 September 2016. Since then the band had been rehearsing for this gig. However, on 17 October 2016 the band was invited to play at the Gothic Halloween on 4 November 2016 by András Keserű. Therefore, the band changed their preparation schedule for the Szilvuplé gig and inserted the new event with different songs.

Song selection
Following the negative critics on the concert on 4 November 2016, the band omitted the song Splendid Solitude from their set list. However, Bálint Hamvas insisted on not changing to much in the set list used on 4 November 2016. Therefore, the band did not change the order of the first three songs but changed Under Your Wings into Don't Die A Martyr For Me. The fifth song, Immortality was not changed because Viktor Albert insisted on playing it. The sixth song was changed from In Heaven We Meet Again into London Nights. From the seventh song, the band completely changed the set list for the Szilvuplé concert. Ophelia, The Cure's cover Boys Don't Cry, and Change The World were inserted instead of playing Splendid Solitude. However, the final song was the same at both concerts, Scarlet. As opposed to the concert on 4 November 2016, the band played 2 encores: Giulia and Love's Gonna Be Tender.

Critics
The band received mainly very positive critics after the concert.

Dawnstar's 27th concert was held on 4 November 2016 at Őrmezei Közösségi Ház, in Budapest, Hungary.

Organisation

The concert was organised by András Keserű, who previously organised concerts (22.06.2006., 24.09.2006. and 30.11.2006.) at the Erzsébetligeti Színház in the 16th district of Budapest. The band was originally rehearsing for their concert at Szilvuplé Varieté held on 18.11.2016. when András Keserű called Attila Wind and invited the band to play a full show at the Őrmezei Közösség Ház. The band accepted the invitation just two weeks before the gig and also rescheduled the set list in order to adjust to the event, Gothic Halloween. In addition, the band was offered 30,000 HUF to play at the event.

Song selection

There was heated debate in connection with the selection of the songs. Bálint Hamvas and Viktor Albert insisted on playing songs from the band's early years because they thought that those songs would fit better into the style of the event, dark/gothic. On the contrary, Attila Wind wanted to play the band's most popular and well-known songs to get some new fans. Finally, the band decided to play their darkest songs including Under Your Wings, and Splendid Solitude. One thing in which there was accordance is that the song, Splendid Solitude, can be played. Attila Wind had wanted to play Splendid Solitude previously at their concert on 18.06.2016. at the Classic Rock Coffee but they decided to omit it. So it was an excellent opportunity for the song to be played.

Concert

During the concert the band had several technical problems. First, while playing Joy Division's Love Will Tear Us Apart, either Bálint Hamvas's or Attila Wind's guitar was out of tune which resulted in a very strange sound. According to Bálint Hamvas, during playing Pearl Jam's Immortality they had the same problem.

Concert

Dawnstar's 26th concert was held on 18 June 2016 at Classic Rock Coffee in Budapest, Hungary. The concert was organised by the band members. First the concert was scheduled for an earlier date but due to changes of the opening hours of shops in Hungary the band had to change the date of the concert.

The concert at the Classic Rock Coffee set the record of the longest set list in the band's life (18 in total). In addition this was the first concert where the band was paid for (30, 000 HUF).

The original set list consisted even more songs such as Pearl Jam's Immortality, Splendid Solitude, and Until This Day. However, during the concert the band abandoned these songs.

The concert was expected to be played in high temperature but luckily on the day of the concert the temperature was moderate. In addition, the hall was equipped with air conditioner.

Dawnstar's 25th concert was held on 12 February 2016 at Szilvuplé Varieté in Budapest, Hungary. This was the second show at Szilvuplé Varieté, and the show was basically the remake of the gig held on 27th November 2015.

Dawnstar's 24th concert was held on 27th November 2015 at Szilvuplé Varieté in Budapest, Hungary.
The concert was organised by Gábor Bordács who invited the band to play at the show. The original name of the event was "200 éves ember bulija" (The 200-year-old man's party) because four friends celebrated their 50th birthday, including event organizer Gábor Bordács.
The concert was special for the band because they had not played for almost 4 years after Anna Mitropulos's departure in 2011. The concert was also special because the band had not played as a trio for almost 10 years.
The party's topic centered around the 1980s music therefore the band were asked to perform some songs from that era. Dawnstar chose four songs from the 1980s including The Cure's Boys Don't Cry, Joy Division's Love Will Tear Us Apart, U2's I Will Follow, and The Smiths' Panic. Among these songs there was one of Viktor Albert's favourite band, U2. The available time at the show was around 30-40 minutes for the band, therefore Dawnstar decided to play some of their songs too. The band played three songs from Saturnine Valentines, including Love's Gonna Be Tender for the first time, and two songs from Change The World, and Giulia from their A Metrosexual's Confessions demo.

Concert

Dawnstar's 23rd concert was held on 8 October 2011 at Rézmál Kávézó és Terasz in Budapest, Hungary. The concert was organised by Viktor Albert who lived near to the café. In 2011 the band had inner conflicts between keyboardist keyboardist Anna Mitropulos and bass player Bálint Hamvas. As it turned out this was the last concert with keyboardist Anna Mitropulos who a couple of months later left the band.

Organization
The organization for this gig took a couple of months for the band. Initially, Attila Wind asked his student, Gábor Pongó, who played the guitar in his band called ZAP whether they would like to play at the gig. However, just two weeks before the concert Gábor Pongó cancelled his band's participation. Finally, Bálint Hamvas asked his friend, Bernadett Vanyuscsák, who was the lead singer of Matild in 2011. Matild was a tribute band and they played covers at the gig.

Dawnstar's 20th concert was held on 10 April 2010 at Pécsi Est Café, Pécs, Hungary. The concert was part of the Pécsi Fringe Festival.

Dawnstar's 19th concert was held on 30 December 2009 at Psychedelic Gallery, Budapest. This show was the last to hold at the Psychedelic Gallery.

Concert

Dawnstar's 18th concert was held on 6 June 2009 at Donaukanaltreiben Festival in Vienna, Austria. This was the first concert abroad. The gig was organised by Heidi Piringer, an Austrian concert organizer, who spotted Dawnstar on MySpace and invited the band to play at the Donaukanaltreiben Festival.
The band decided to bring all the equipment they had at that time. however, on the spot it turned out that everything was provided except for the guitars and keyboard.
